Deutshe Bank

A particular attraction for Deutsche Bank was to lend their support to an event that has such a wide reach across the community - not only have members of staff at some stage participated in the Jersey Eisteddfod but also many of their children now take part. The entrants in both Festivals span all generations from nursery schools to senior citizens.

Since 1997, DB has worked closely with the Eisteddfod publicity committee not only to help bring a contemporary look and feel to the publicity material whilst at the same time retaining its traditional flavour but also to assist in the promotion of the two Festivals each year.

In addition to the agreed sponsorship, in 1998 DB made additional funds available for the Tom Goss Memorial Record Books and in 2000 sponsored four local young performers who, as a result of their successes at the Festival of Performing Arts, had been invited to perform at the British Federation Millennium Festival held in Leeds.

Deutsche Bank has been joint sponsor, along with the Jersey Arts Trust, of the Jersey Eisteddfod since 1997.

Jersey Arts Trust

The Jersey Arts Trust is an independent charitable trust responsible for developing, supporting, improving and promoting the understancing, practice and accessibility of the arts and crafts in Jersey and preserving the Island's artistic identity. Our aims are to provide funding, advice and opportunities for artists living and working in Jersey.

We offer a range of services from advocacy to grant giving, career development to research and we are working hard to bring people, arts and audiences together to celebrate the excellence that is Jersey's artistic talent.

We are committed to find ways to break down barriers, creating greater opportunities for participation in the arts, as well as bringing the arts community closer together.
